I’ve got the PC-630 in a Russ Wiles box from Bimmerhaus. The mount is well constructed but needed a couple of nuts replaced with Nylock to make it perfect.
The battery lives on a Battery Tender and seems to work perfectly. AGM technology provides a nice safety-net in a racecar that can sit for extended periods of time and the whole thing weighs ~20 lbs less the the OEM battery. I converted when my stock battery failed so the incremental cost was small. Little downside that I can see.
